Top New Zealand band, Op-Shop, will headline the Uni-Games after-party this Friday from 8.30pm.
The band’s frontman, Jason Kerrison is originally from Southland and said it had been too long since they last played in Invercargill.
Last time the band was here, they wrote a song about Invercargill called the City of Water and Light. As well as playing that song, this time the band will be playing songs from their previous two albums and will give a sneak peek into what you can expect from their new album, which is soon to be released.
Op-Shop will be supported by local eight-piece group, Rhythmonyx.
Tickets are on sale now from Stadium Southland for $35, or $25 for students.
