On Saturday, 25 September, the Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) and Invercargill Transition Town are holding a Spring Festival to celebrate spring, community and the environment.
The festival will be held from 10.30-4.30pm at Invercargill Middle School and the Dutch Hall in Jed Street. Gold coin donation per person for entry.
There will be activities for children, information, discussions and demonstrations on gardening, reducing waste, energy alternatives, conservation, food, health and much more.
The SIT environmental students will also have a stall at the event.
The festival provides a perfect opportunity for those who have a passion for the environment and sustainability, or for those who just want an excuse to get out and enjoy the sunshine!
