Riverton Aparima Community Concept Plan Review

Residents and ratepayers of the Riverton Ward are invited to participate in the Riverton Aparima Community Concept Plan Review Process with a workshop being held on 26 September 2009. This process will be facilitated by Venture Southland on behalf of the Riverton Aparima Community Board.

The purpose of the Riverton Aparima Community Concept Plan review is to seek your ideas and suggestions on future community development initiatives, attractions, events, amenities, activities and enterprise opportunities. The plan aims to co-ordinate future development opportunities and identify priorities for future development.

Interested parties are invited to attend the Riverton Aparima Community Planning Workshop

When: Saturday 26 September 2009

Where: Aparima College Hall

Time: 10.00am - 3.00pm

For pedestrian and vehicle safety NZTA needs to consider putting lights at the intersection of Napier and SH99 or median islands at the crossing on Palmerston St
Initially assess compliance of existing crossing facilities and ensure modifications increase safety not J-walking.
