A workshop to review the Riverton Aparima Community Concept Plan was successfully held on Saturday 26 September 2009, with approximately fifty residents and ratepayers of the Riverton Ward participating.
Facilitated by Venture Southland on behalf of the Riverton Aparima Community Board, the workshop sought ideas and suggestions on future community development initiatives, attractions, events, amenities, activities and enterprise opportunities.
A Draft Plan is currently being prepared based on the ideas and suggestions raised, and is intended to be ready in early December.
