Southland businesses will now be able to get helpful hints on how to become sustainable with the click of a mouse.
On 11 March the website www.sustainablesouthland.co.nz went live. This website portal is key to disseminating information on sustainable practices to Southland businesses. One of the features of the website is an interactive opportunity where users can comment on each aspect of the website.
The website also features an event listing, news and an instant online discussion forum for users. One of the strengths of the website, is that it showcases Southland businesses sustainability stories; this received a strong focus because it is believed Southlanders need to be sharing their stories more, in order to start shifting social norms in the region towards sustainable practices.
