Northern Southland Community Resource Centre Charitable Trust

Venture Southland assisted the Northern Southland community with the creation of this Trust. This included involvement with developing the Trust Deed and various documents and policies relevant to the Trust.

This Trust has filled a key role in the community and since its inception has provided key community and youth services and support for locals.  This has involved the employment of a community and a number of youth workers. Venture has and will continue to assist the Trust with these funding applications and processes.

Housed out of the Lumsden Resource Centre, recent projects for this Trust include investigating the provision of subsidised transport for the elderly, sick and others from Lumsden to Invercargill. They also facilitate successful parenting, youth and school holiday programmes.
