Thornbury Vintage tractor and implement club

The Thornbury Vintage Tractor and Implement Club are undertaking a major development, to construct a new display building for their vintage machinery and implements. The club has extensively fundraised to date to complete the site works and an open shed component of the redevelopment.

A feasibility study has been completed and the club has recently completed an Interpretation Plan.

Venture Southland has helped extensively in the fundraising and planning aspects of this project, ranging from the creation of a project profile document to completing applications for funding.

The new proposed building will provide greater opportunities and allow the expansion of the museum displays to create an even more comprehensive display of vintage machinery and rural life for the Southland region and visitors to the region.
