Creative Southland is an initiative to foster the promotion and development of arts and culture in Southland. Our region has a rich and diverse wealth of artists that add life, soul and colour to society as they practise and share their various creative talents.
The Creative Southland website is a tool for all artists interested in celebrating Southland as home to creative dynamism, creative excitement and creative excellence. All arts practitioners - whether individuals or groups, are encouraged to participate in the Creative Southland vision by contributing to the content of this website.
It is hoped that artists will also use this site to develop networks to support their art form, to advertise events and to exchange information. The site has also been developed to help locals and visitors to develop their own arts-trails as they meander across Southland. This will hopefully add to increased business opportunities for Southland's artists.
