Community Trust of Southland Art Scholarships

These awards have been established by the Trust to foster excellence among Southland's creative community.

Community Trust of Southland Art Scholarships can be awarded under one of the following four separate categories

 

Premiere Performance:
Aimed at elite artistic performers. Likely to be only a very small number of scholarships awarded each year, but would be of high calibre, and a higher dollar value.

Group Travel & Accommodation:
Aimed at supporting groups to participate in premiere artistic events beyond Southland. Groups must have been selected to participate in the event, (i.e. not self-selected), and must be deemed by the CTOS to have reached an acceptable level of performance to warrant a scholarship.

Workshops:
Aimed at assisting Southland arts groups to bring to Southland elite arts practitioners for workshops, lectures, master classes or similar.

Individual Travel & Accommodation:
Aimed at assisting individual Southlanders who have been selected (i.e. not self-selected) to participate in artistic events and activities beyond Southland. Applicants must be deemed by the CTOS to have reached an acceptable level of performance to warrant a scholarship.
