Southland District Council Creative New Zealand Arts Scholarship

The Southland District Council awards up to three Art Scholarships annually. The highest amount awarded to any one student being $1,000.00 and the scholarship can be held for one year only.

The applicant, and/or the applicant's parents or guardians must currently reside in the area administered by the Southland District Council and have done so for a minimum period of two consecutive years prior to applying.

A condition of accepting this scholarship will be, that at the end of the year in which the scholarship is awarded, the recipient will be required to offer up to four pieces of artwork which will then be exhibited in the Invercargill office and may be subsequently circulated to appropriate venues within the district.
