Southland events calendar: www.events.southlandnz.com which will show what other events are on at the same time. Get your event on there as soon as possible, even if the details are sketchy at first. This will allow other organisations to see that you have an event on, which eliminates clashes. Submit your event on the site and by doing so yourself it will appear more quickly.  This information is used for the Venture Southland Events page in the Southland Express. When you have more details to add or need to make amendments, email info@events.southlandnz.com or call Venture Southland on 211 1400.

Venture also publishes a Southland Events Calendar with major events taken from the website. This is a hard copy brochure of around 6,000 copies and goes out for Summer/Autumn and Winter/Spring. Contact Amanda on 211 1423 if you think your event qualifies. The information from the events website is also utilised for Venture Southland Tourism’s Foveaux Files which goes to tourism operators all over Southland and the wider NZ tourism industry.
