Department of Internal Affairs (Lottery Grants Board, COGS)
NZ Lottery Grants Board
The purpose of the NZ Lottery Grants Board is to benefit the New Zealand community by distributing the profits from state lotteries run by the NZ Lotteries Commission. It does this through a system of distribution agencies and committees that support a wide range of community purposes.
The Lottery Grants Board have the following funds available:

- Individuals with Disabilities
- Pacific Provider Development Fund
- Lottery Community Facilities Fund
- Lottery Community Sector Research Fund
- Lottery Environment and Heritage
- Lottery Marae Heritage and Facilities
- Lottery Health research

Community Grants Scheme
The Local Government and Community Branch administers and provides information and advice on 9 community grants or funding schemes to support local initiatives, community services and community-based youth development.
