Southern Scenic Route Research
During a 2 week period in March 2009, 439 people agreed to take part in a survey designed to investigate the behaviour of tourists within the Southland region, and more specifically those that were travelling on the Southern Scenic Route. The information obtained will assist the tourism industry to improve the overall tourism experience of visitors by understanding and meeting their needs.
