CHARTER MEMBERS
Operators in the Sustainable Tourism Project in Southland and Fiordland are looking at their business in a whole new light. By looking at their effect on the environment and the community whilst taking into account their staff, their clients, themselves and their financial bottom line they can save money and be a sustainable business in the long run.
The project encourages these businesses to develop action plans focusing on environmental sustainability, factors looked at include energy efficiency, waste reduction, recycling, water quality and conservation.
