Invercargill and the Southland region are well served by Air New Zealand with up to 10 direct daily flights to / from Christchurch or Wellington, and from there with all cities and major towns around the country.

 

Invercargill Airport is located only 5 minutes drive from the central city area. Several rental car companies are located inside the airport terminal for all your rental car needs.

If you are exploring Southland via the Southern Scenic Route you may choose to fly into Queenstown or Dunedin.

Fly from Invercargill to Stewart Island

Stewart Island Flights provide daily scheduled flights between Invercargill and Stewart Island / Rakiura.
